Frustration! Republicans — Too Often the ‘Me Too!’ Party

And once more, Conservatives are responsible for electing people they think will try to restore American values. Instead, they get politicians who are simply satisfied to work with Democrats to minimize the country’s decay.

America’s Conservatives are increasingly growing hostile to those who boldly claim to embrace their ideals, but routinely betray them once they get to Washington.

Conservatives are sick of seeing the GOP become the “Me Too” Party.

No matter what you think of the man, one of the best things about former Speaker Newt Gingrich’s “Contract with America” was the fact that it put Republicans on the offensive.

The “Me Too” Party is losing America right now because they are satisfied with playing defense.

Yes, of course, I realize that Republicans do not control the Senate or the White House. However, that doesn’t mean that the GOP should be happy playing defense.

In most sports, you generally cannot score points on defense.

The House Republicans are making a serious mistake by always letting Democrats set the agenda, a situation that always has them looking weak and willing to compromise.

For all his faults, which are many, Newt Gingrich truly understood that you must take the fight to your political enemies.
With that in mind, it’s long past time for John Boehner to step down from his leadership position or actually seek to lead.

Perhaps the Speaker should finally toughen up his skin instead of always trying to tan it.

If Boehner truly cares about liberty, then he should finally put the GOP on offense.

How do you do this?

Make the Democrats respond to a Conservative agenda. Put them on defense. Drive them crazy with your political efforts. Moreover, actively convene panels to thoroughly investigate their political crimes and scandals!

As we learned from the “Contract with America,” Democrats cannot successfully push their agenda when Republicans are dominating the conversation.

If American liberty has any lasting chance of survival, then Republicans need to stop being the “Me Too” Party.
