Feminist Abortion Crazy Train Is an Insane Merry-Go-Round

In the 1963 romantic comedy Love with a Proper Stranger, the late great Natalie Wood plays Angie Rossini, a “girl in trouble,” an expression that seems very quaint today, used then to describe a woman pregnant out of wedlock. Her predicament resulted from a one-night stand with musician Rocky Papasano, played by the late Steve McQueen. Keep in mind that in 1963, militant, man-hating feminists hadn’t yet convinced young women that the key to “liberation” was hitting the sheets with as many men as possible. Illegitimacy was stigmatized in those days, and most women who found themselves unmarried and in a family way (and their shotgun wielding dads) demanded marriage. Angie Rossini wasn’t looking for that. She was simply seeking money from Rocky for an abortion.

In an extremely riveting scene, Rocky and Angie arrive at the abortion location, a dirty abandoned apartment, greeted by an unsavory looking guy, obviously the muscle for the operation, and an older woman, who would be doing the deed, and who interestingly looks a lot like modern day feminists who demand the “right to choose.” Angie and the woman go into a bedroom, with the abortionist urging Angie to hurry up and get undressed. Suddenly, Rocky bursts into the room, looks at the hag who is about to engage in the unauthorized practice of medicine, and yells “You said it would be a doctor!” He hurriedly rushes Angie out of there, while the abortionist and her bodyguard skedaddle, hoping to escape before the cops arrive. (SPOILER ALERT: Angie and Rocky do eventually get married.)

This scene illustrates precisely what Roe v. Wade was all about, doesn’t it? Abortion should be legal, safe and performed by doctors! No more “back alley” procedures, or women reduced to using coat hangers, screwdrivers, Drano or any other damn thing that they could think of to undo the consequences of their choices to have sex with guys not good enough to be the fathers of their children. How fortunate we are to live in this enlightened age when the sort of Neanderthal thinking that made abortion illegal has been relegated to the dust bin of history! No more terrified women fearing being butchered at the hands of an unqualified, fake medical practitioners. Unless, of course, you happen to live in the formerly golden state, California, or in Oregon, Montana, Vermont and New Hampshire, which also allow non-physicians to do these abortions.

Gov. Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown is poised to sign a law that will allow non-physician health care providers like nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, and midwives to not only administer abortifacient drugs, but also to perform suction abortions, procedures in which an instrument is inserted into a woman’s body, into an organ that could be punctured in the process. What could possibly go wrong? Perhaps California legislators could look to the recent case of abortion butcher Kermit Gosnell for some guidance, that is, if they can stand the nightmares that those who read about what went on in Gosnell’s house of horrors suffer.

So, in fifty years we’ve gone from a desperate need to legalize abortion to prevent the unspeakable conditions and risks to women’s health presented because abortion was illegal, and not performed by licensed physicians, to celebrating increased “access” to “choice” because states will now allow almost-doctors to insert suction devices into women and destroy those pesky unwanted tissue masses.

Like all of liberalism, feminist is riddled with ridiculous contradictions. The pro-abort feminists have ridden their obsession with this hideous procedure full circle, not realizing how ridiculous they appear to normal Americans.
