Hey, Iowa! Where is the Sandusky Treatment?

Horror in the Heartland. Almost no one has ever heard of Brent Girouex. He is every bit the monster that Jerry Sandusky was, actually worse, and only thirty one years old and he’s free. Sweet Brent was a youth pastor, or something, at a large church in the Omaha area. He had the nasty little idea that he could “rape” the gay out of underage boys. He was charged with more than sixty counts and more than eight different boys have come forward. What he did is not in dispute. He said he was purifying these boys for God or something. He stated that his homosexual raping of them would somehow make them straight and remove impure thoughts from their minds.

Where is the Sandusky treatment? Sorry, but there’s nothing. There’s no “National Outrage”, no trashing of an entire college football program or a legendary coach for his involvement, and definitely no multi-million legal awards for the un-named victims. Nothing! Just some local articles in Iowa that have already been archived and now a blogger writing about it for Clash Daily. Other than that, nothing. I’m beyond horrified, outraged, and sickened.

You may say, get real, sick things happen all the time in America. They can’t all make headlines. Okay, maybe not, but this sick freak got caught and was convicted. Then he was sentenced to seventeen years in jail. Not even close to enough, if you ask me, for sixty counts of CHILD-RAPE! Only seventeen years, how does that even happen? That means that if he served it all he would only be forty eight when he got out. Is that enough for what he did to the innocence of the boys who trusted him? Not if you ask me. It will take many of the abused more than seventeen years to get over what he did to them, if they ever do.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the story gets even worse. A wonderful, brilliant, respectable, Council Bluffs District 4 Court Judge, Greg Steensland, suspended the pedophile sicko’s sentence. Suspended the sentence means Mr. Dirtbag Girouex will do absolutely NO time. None. He will suffer through five years of probation and endure some sexual assault classes. I bet they won’t be as fun as the classes Mr. Girouex had with his victims as he taught them about their sexual deviancy.

Why? How? What? Where’s the Sandusky anger? Where is the justice? Get a short rope. Grab the castrating knife. Maybe someone should “rape some sense into that Judge”. I know that’s harsh talk, but this story boggles the mind. That Judge should be removed from the bench as unfit to serve. This Brent Girouex jack-wagon should be doing some hard time with his new friend “Bubba”. Prison is hard on molesters from what I’m told. See if he likes the treatment.

Judge Steensland should be charged as a co-conspirator in the next offense that is most certainly coming from the serial rapist he set scot-free.

There is no point to this article other than sheer outrage on my part. How can we throw away the key as a society on a 70+ year old pedophile, Sandusky, but let this creep go? Erin Girouex, the now ex-wife, is outraged as well. She wants her former husband locked up and kept away from their kids. Smart woman, seems logical.

Where is the outrage from the church? We all love to bash the Catholic Priests when they have their problems. Why so much silence here? The church is notoriously silent on condemning sinners. I know we’ve all sinned and fallen short and judgment is reserved for the Lord, but it’s okay to call a spade a spade, or in this case a God-defaming-rapist what he is. There are plenty of great people working prison ministries who can work on his soul, but put this kind of trash in prison, don’t turn the other blind eye and let him walk the street.

I’m not recommending it, but I’d be shocked if some street justice didn’t find its way to Mr. Girouex. Maybe one of the family members of the boys he helped “purify” will visit Mr. Girouex and pray with him. Well, if while they are on their knees praying, the Lord “smotes” Mr. Girouex with a lightning bolt or a blunt instrument, they can only hope they’ll get Judge Steensland. He seems like a pretty forgiving guy.

Council Bluffs … get rid of that Judge and keep an eye out for Brent Girouex who is walking your streets or maybe your church. It’s time for these sick Judges corrupting our system to go. It’s time for our society’s depraved to be treated like the wretched creatures they are, not like a kid in a time-out. Regrettably, vigilante justice rises out of this kind of failure by the law.
