JESUS ROCKS: Does Rock and Roll Need God?

In an interview, Billy Corgan from Smashing Pumpkins said that God is “the great unexplored territory in Rock and Roll music”.

But that doesn’t mean he’s in favor of the sappy Jesus-is-my-boyfriend music that gets mass produced and branded “Christian music” either.

When asked, he said “Make better music. Personally, I think Jesus would like better bands.”

He’s probably right.
