Contemporary Conservative Patriots: Voices to be Heard
On a weekly basis, if not daily, we are being bombarded with negative news events about our ineffective government and their discourse from their constituent’s requests. The hole in which we are being dumped is becoming deeper and wider, enveloping the entire population whether the outcome is evident to all. Pastors, priests, rabbis, the bible and prayer definitely keeps us high in spirit to continue fighting the fight that we understand to be righteous. On a different level, we can find many who stand in the forefront who hold our political voice that is shouted across America. All of these individuals have a strong faith in God, the Constitution and the Conservative movement’s principals.
Mark Levin, radio talk show host, author and president of Landmark Legal Foundation has written a series of three books which examines the statist’s path over the past century and where it has delivered us today. Liberty and Tyranny identifies who the democrats are and how they have taken America down the socialist road. Ameritopia explains how we have arrived at what could be considered a false utopia in which the citizens have become servants of the government.
“The Great One’s” most recent book, The Liberty Amendments, Restoring the American Republic is what separates Mark from most other spectacular Conservative talk show hosts. Using “our” Constitution, Mark explains how we can side step the Senate and House through a State Convention, not to be confused with a Constitutional Convention, to implement amendments that would help bring “our” Constitution back to the forefather’s original intent. Mark is passionate about the Constitutional Conservative movement which can be seen in his writings and heard on his radio show, The Mark Levin Show.
Dr. Benjamin Carson is a man that speaks with an easy going voice that delivered a head pounding monologue to Obama at the National Prayer Breakfast. With a truthful criticism of the President’s policies, he spoke about common sense in the government and the decisions it makes when representing the people. Shortly after the doctor’s speech, he found himself being audited by the IRS. It has become prevalent that when the liberals fear the opposition they send their attack machines out in attempt to destroy one’s credibility. Needless to say, the challenge made by the IRS was a failure.
We are fortunate to have many intelligent, resilient and I must add beautiful ladies in the Republican Party that happen to lean more to the right than most in the GOP. The two that are at the top of the list that should be acknowledged are Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin.
Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has been one of the leading forces in DC to point out Obama’s relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood and his direct connection to terrorist organizations. For the most part, her cautions have fallen on deaf ears. More recently, Michele and a dozen other fellow members of Congress helped approximately ninety veterans bypass the barry-cades at the WWII Memorial.
Alaska Governor and vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin’s conservative voice will be back at FOX NEWS as a paid contributor. It will be enjoyable to see the day she sits across the table with Juan Williams, Bob Beckel or any of the other left wingers. There have been some rumors that Sarah could possibly make a run for a Senate seat or possibly be in the running for President. Where ever Sarah is, we know she will contribute 100 percent to the Constitutional Conservative cause.
One can always count on Lieutenant Colonel Allen West speaking his mind that actually frightens the socialist movement. From immigration bills to taxation, Mr. West speaks with Constitutional authority. One of Allen West’s memorable quotes is, “I think that this liberal progressive agenda is not the thing that the American people want and it’s antithesis to who we are as a constitutional republic”. We should keep an eye on Mr. West because he is a very strong contributing force against the statists.
Freshman Senator Ted Cruz has to be one of the Conservative’s favorite attack dogs. The establishment Republicans hate him, to be polite, and the new socialist party that goes by the name of Democrat also despises him. He puts a smile on many of our faces because the man is standing up to D.C.’s corrupt apparatus that sidesteps OUR Constitution. It is just my opinion but this is the type of statesman I would like to see in OUR White House.
The list of God-fearing Constitutional Conservatives is somewhat small compared to what we are up against but they are out there fighting for our freedoms. I can’t name them all but I should make a list of some to at least receive an honorable mention: Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Jim DeMint, Marco Rubio, Louie Gohmert, Sean Hannity, Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin and Judge Jeanine Pirro.
