On Saturday, police in Austin were called to the House of Torment Haunted House at the Highland Mall, after widespread fighting began sometime after 10 p.m.
Eventually, a call for “all available units” went out to deal with the crowd of more than 200 rioters, according to court documents.
The crowd then turned more violent, throwing rocks at responding officers.
Several arrests were made throughout the night.
A list of a few of those arrested and booked into the Travis County Jail follows:
- Tyrie Ockleberry, 17, charged with resisting search, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, and inciting a riot
- Ahmad Valdez-Carter, 17, charged with evading on foot, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, and inciting a riot
- Winzell Washington, 17, charged with failure to identify, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, and inciting a riot
- Charles Robertson-Davis, 22, charged with aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, and inciting a riot
