SARAH’S ON FIRE: Palin On ObamaCare, DC’s Dysfunction And Martin Bashir’s Sick Comments

In an exclusive Fox News Sunday interview, former Governor Sarah Palin addressed the comments made about her by Martin Bashir. After Palin compared America’s national debt to slavery, the MSNBC host said she should suffer the same punishment forced upon 18th century slaves.

Bashir later apologized, saying it was “wholly unacceptable” that he implied Palin should eat feces, but he has not been suspended or reprimanded by MSNBC. Meanwhile, his colleague Alec Baldwin had his show suspended for allegedly making a homophobic slur against a photographer.

Palin told Chris Wallace it’s hypocritical that Bashir hasn’t been suspended for his comments. “That’s the executive hypocrisy that’s so prevalent in the media elite bubble where it depends on the target of the vile rants. It doesn’t depend on what the rant itself actually is and conservative women are a target of them.”

She continued, “I don’t have to accept his words, his vile, evil comments. So they don’t have to affect me. I move on and I charge forth.”

Palin said she accepts Bashir’s apology. Next time, however, she requested the apology go through her husband and children so that their thoughts on the verbal attacks can be heard.

Speaking about ObamaCare, Palin said it’s not workable. “People have awakened and realized the Tea Party was right.”
