This is one white man that will never allow some liberal windbag, or punk-pundit from MSNBC to make me feel guilty about the following: Slavery, Jim Crow, or some inner-city black woman with six kids (from six different men) residing in abject filth, squalor and poverty.
And why no guilt? Because it’s not my fault.
For far too long, professional race-mongers and pimps such as Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson (and now Barack Obama) have used the past to make white men feel hyper-guilty and culpable.
By rehashing slavery, Jim Crow and other discriminatory laws and actions of long ago–these demagogues of divisiveness have not only been able to place a heavy yoke of burden and guilt on white men–but have also been able to line their own pockets while dramatically expanding the welfare state for their constituents.
The business of making whites feel guilty (i.e. white guilt) has produced such insidiousness as affirmative action, racial quotas and tax payer funded programs and subventions such as the “War on Poverty.”
(While nearly $15 trillion dollars has been spent fighting poverty–the number of people living below the poverty line in 2013 was the highest in generations.)
In my estimation–white guilt has even produced an extremely dangerous corollary. I firmly believe that the majority of white politicos who refuse to secure the border do so because those illegally breaching it are “people of color.”
And, as we all know–failure to secure our border presents a major national security dilemma.
Again, if an inner-city black woman lacks the virtue to keep her legs closed–how is that my fault? And–maybe more importantly–why are my tax dollars being used to aid and abet such moral fecklessness?
In the final analysis–I am not responsible for what happened 70, or even 170 years ago. Nor am I responsible for those individuals (of a so-called victim class) that decide to ruin theirs lives because they simply can’t control their libidos.
Yes, this is one cracker that will not allow the liberal windbags and race-pimps of our time to saddle me with white guilt because–white guilt is for losers.
