Shame! Pelosi Receives Her Baby-Killer Award

Yep, Nancy received her Margaret Sanger Award for her work defending abortion rights, at the Planned Parenthood Annual Gala. No surprise there.

The over-medicated looking Pelosi continues to lack any redeeming qualities. Which she again proved by being bestowed the blood-dripping award. Be it her bugged out crazy eyes, her adoration for King Obama, her “you need to sign it to see what’s in it” or her cheerleading every assortment of vile, and evil under the sun, flat out she just plain rubs me the wrong way.

The one event appearance of the over-Botoxed Nancy that I cannot wrap my head around, is that she was at my churches’ grand-opening night celebration. Worse than just being there in the audience, she was also invited to speak from the podium in front of the packed to capacity crowd. Yes the grand-opening was almost ten years ago, but I‘m still scratching my head saying, WTH?

Here in Houston, most sitting around me in church that night had no idea who she was. I was born and raised in California, so I knew exactly who she was. Maybe it was the aghast air sucking sound I made when her name was announced that caused people around me to take notice. Once the microphone was in Nancy’s witchy hand, she blabbed on that she was in town for her daughter, who was having her baby baptized at the biggest Catholic Church in Houston a few days from then. That’s all I remember her saying, after all, I was going into shock.

So here is a question begging for an answer. Why, Why, Why, would the Pastor of the largest non-denomination Christian Church in America, or any pastor for that matter, have a ravenously enthusiastic outspoken abortion proponent speak at a church opening? I thought as Christians we didn’t support abortion, or at least that’s how I read Gods’ word. The shedding of innocent blood is an abomination to God, Proverbs 6:17. What is more innocent than a pre-born baby? I thought we as Christians were on opposite sides from the pro-baby killers? Opposite like, the Hatfield’s and McCoy’s, the north and South, or Aggies vs. Longhorns.

If one has the clout, prestige and popularity as my Pastor does, should he not be involved with setting a biblical standard in his church? We as Christians should never kick someone who has had an abortion out the church doors. But those who come thru our church doors espousing an evil doctrine, such as abortion, should we not confront and quiet that voice? Maybe start by not giving them a microphone? In handing over a microphone no matter what is spoken, it’s condoning that person’s beliefs or doctrine.

Don’t believe that? Would you have Hitler come speak at your board meeting, even if he exclusively talked about growing apple trees? No, of course not, because it sends a silent message that you value this person’s opinions and beliefs. That’s why you should never, never hand the devil the microphone.

It’s honorable to acknowledge dignitaries in attendance, and you can’t help who walks thru your church doors, but it’s quite another thing to hand that said person the microphone to speak. That…Speaks volumes!
