Back Door Gun Control: Obama’s Justice Dept ‘Choking’ Gun Industry
Do you know where your weapons and more importantly where your ammunition is? Well, you may be soon facing a dramatically shrinking supply of both weapons as well as ammunition if the U.S. Department of Justice fully utilizes its “Choke Point” program, according to Fox News. The reality is clear; the U.S. Constitution’s Second Amendment right to bear arms may leave your arms bare of legal gun rights.
The emergence of the Obama administration’s so-called “Choke Point” was born out of its frustration at the president’s goal to neuter gun rights by using his lackluster sway upon congress. Unfortunately for the president and the gun control supporters like Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and former Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York, the rush to judgment lodged against America’s millions of legal gun owners did not pan out for them.
Now Republican House investigators from the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee discovered that Barack Obama has turned to his ever familiar executive power socialist pen. This time it was unleashed upon the firearms industry for all intents and purpose to put it completely out of business, reported Fox News.
All of this has been done completely under wraps, while legal gun owners go about their daily business, not realizing that their favorite weapon of choice can fall victims to the Justice Department’s finding it “objectionable.” Are you concerned yet? You should be, because what Obama could not do through congressional action he will attempt to do through executive action, and strip away your U.S. Constitutional gun rights before you can say, “Not in my home!”
This is how it may work. The administration will make the claim that the gun manufacturers are considered “high risk” and then force the banking industry as well as what are considered third-party payment process to refuse to accept payments from gun manufacturers. After all, if these gun and ammunition manufacturers are on the DOJ list they are technically in violation of Obama federal law.
Now is this becoming any clearer? By executive action, this president intends to dry up the marketplace so that legal gun purchases will be so tightly regulated that the only thing you will be left to defend yourself or your family is a very powerful broomstick.
You may be thinking right about now that this cannot happen in America where gun rights are cherished and protected. Well, the America that existed from 1776 until January 20th 2009 and since that time are two different Americas. The war on the 2nd Amendment is very real, and the Obama White House is trying any means necessary at its disposal to detonate legal gun owner rights.
The documents that have been made public by California GOP Rep. Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, have been more than startling. Legal businesses are being shut down left and right and because the administration has placed gun and ammunition manufacturers in with pornography, escort services, online gambling, Ponzi schemes and other nefarious businesses. They are attempting to paint the legitimate gun businesses with the same broad unsavory brush.
Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer, R-Mo. nailed the administration’s attempt on its head in pointing out, “Their own memos show they are well beyond enforcing the law. We have documented that they are going after gun and ammunition manufacturers, gun sellers and non-deposit lenders,” according to Fox News.
This “Choke Point” assault upon gun and ammunition manufacturers is discriminating against gun manufacturer and ammunition businesses according to the largest trade association for firearm and ammunition manufacturers. The Obama DOJ officials are taking aim at them “simply because they are engaged in the lawful commerce of firearms,” stressed National Rifle Association spokesman, Andrew Arulanandam, reported Fox News.
So is the Obama executive order pen mightier than the U.S. Constitution’s Second Amendment gun rights? You and every gun owner in America need to let the White House gun control cronies know the answer is a resounding NO!!
