Race Baiting Southern Style? Cochran Beats Tea-Party McDaniel

Race is a big deal in Mississippi because of its much heralded past of historical attacks on blacks and the right to vote. So it comes as quite a surprise that in the land of Dixie the Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) camp would embrace race-baiting as a tactic to derail opponent, conservative state Sen. Chris McDaniel. But, perhaps the champagne bottles may have popped too soon for the aged Mississippian. It appears, according to Breitbart, due to some very clear Democrat influenced and black voters, these newly minted Cochran supporters may have voted illegally in the GOP runoff race on Tuesday.

This is, of course, no surprise up north, because Republicans are used to these race-baiting tactics that are perpetrated on a right regular basis by Democrats and their race-baiting specialists in the local and national leadership of the NAACP. In recent times Nixon was the first GOP victim of the race-bait strategy, when Democrats minimized his Vice President’s support for civil rights and instead made up fictional support that was attributed to then Senator John Kennedy.

The same liberal Democrat race bait strategy was used nearly effectively in the 2000 race against President George W. Bush when he ran the first time for the presidency. The NAACP brought out the race card in key voter heavy states and spared no expense or lie to use as weapons against the Republican candidate.

Couple those race baiting tactics with flat out voter corruption as the Democrats have honed into a practice art and you have elections that are won by Democrats and lost by Republicans based upon insidious race-baiting lies.

This of course brings up how these vicious tactics have come to be used by a Republican senator, who was long in the tooth in terms of representing Mississippi in the U.S. Senate for 41 years. He lost in the earlier primary battle in June to McDaniel, and he and his RINO establishment supporters decided that they needed to borrow a page from the Democrat’s electoral playbook. In other words, lie if you can, steal an election if you must, and do both as an absolute.

Unfortunately, it is exactly that type of lie-based political operation that was not only backed by Cochran but was financed and supported by the Washington RINO list of elites that funded this three-week operation. Some of those well-heeled Washington backers included Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, former Ohio Rep. Steven LaTourette’s RINO anti-Tea Party group, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and Karl Rove’s American Crossroads, among others.

But it was paid Democrat operatives on the ground that may well have made the difference for the 76-year-old U.S. senator. Breitbart reported that, the aging senator’s allies paid “key Democratic operatives to help turn out the vote.” And turn out the vote they did to the point that even the cocky remarks of Rickey Cole, Democratic Party chairman, admitted, “Cochran operatives were paying people in the black community to donate to Cochran.”

A McDaniel legal challenge may turn that over-confident Cochran smile upside down if a court, upon going over the ballots, determines that enough win people voted on Tuesday that also voted three weeks ago in the Democratic primary. This is a violation of state voting law because they are forbidden from voting in Tuesday’s election.

The Washington establishment had much to lose and violations of local and state voting practices was of no consequence and the millions of dollars that poured into Cochran’s campaign coffers were meant to insure there would be no Eric Cantor repeat performance.

This is not a setback for the Conservative Campaign Committee or the Tea Party Express or other conservative leaders like Melanie Tipton. It is a wake-up call that is being embraced clearly and with unyielding allegiance to America’s founding father’s conservative principles. Cochran may have used practices to wrest the election from McDaniel but take a look at the promo of Tipton’s documentary called Melanie’s Journey Through Chattanoogaville. You will begin to understand why America is not losing and Mississippi is not losing.

Tipton’s informative documentary is sponsored by The Conservative Campaign Committee / 1 Million People to Defeat Barack Obama and is the direct opposite of liberal Michael Moore’s propaganda film war on Capitalism. See the nation’s Reagan-like view as seen through the eyes of regular Americans and small business owners who support capitalism and its immeasurable virtues. These values are viewed with disdain and contempt by establishment RINOs like Cochran.

So Cochran may be smiling today but the truth and strength of character shown by McDaniel, the Tea Party Express and the Conservative Campaign Committee shall prevail in the long run. Because now all sights are set on Tennessee and Tea Party backed Conservative Republican Joe Carr who is battling incumbent Lamar Alexander and his liberal voting record. Stay tuned and stay strong for a stronger conservative America!
