FINGER FOOD: The New Way To Fish For Piranhas

This gal has balls.

The latest viral video to tear up the internet shows an unidentified Brazilian woman fishing for piranha sans hooks. The woman catches the tiny shredders by dangling meat in the water. When the fish dig in, the woman lifts the voracious biters from the water and shakes them free into a bucket.

I’ve caught a lot of piranha in the Amazon with my friend and Capt Peacock owner Leonardo Leao but have to tell you we always used a rod and reel. Sticking my hand in the water with the tenacious little devils never occurred to me.

The gal in the video is a hell’uva lot tougher than I am.

Or dumber.
