Dear Tea Party brother and sister patriots,
Lloyd Marcus here, a proud unhyphenated American who happens to be black. Are you tired and frustrated? Well, so am I.
Rather than rehashing Obama’s numerous crimes and misdemeanors thus far during his reign of terror, I succinctly call it “tyranny”.
Remarkably, our great nation is facing possible destruction by forces from within; the Democratic Party, RINOs and the MSM. Our freedom, liberty and the very fiber of what makes us Americans is under siege by an evil dictator armed with the most powerful pen and phone in the world; capable of fundamentally transforming America. Many are expecting Obama, by executive order decree, to grant amnesty to 5 million illegals within the next few days.
I finally watched the movie Braveheart for the first time. I know what you are thinking, good grief Lloyd, that movie has been around forever.
The plot was an epic battle for freedom against a tyrannical regime. Mel Gibson was a general. Arguing with his captains, Gibson asked, “Guess what happens if we do not try?” His men looked puzzled. Gibson said, “Nothing.”
Wow! What a great line.
If we allow ourselves to grow weary in well doing and stop pushing back against our enemies and betrayers, nothing happens. Obama wins. A majority of Americans will be enslaved, addicted and dependent on government for their very existence. American Exceptionalism will be dead.
The end of the Braveheart movie was quite powerful and inspiring. Gibson was captured by his enemies and threatened with severe torture. He was offered a quick death if he would simply pledge his loyalty to the king. Gibson refused. He confessed his great fear to God and prayed for strength to endure. His torture was severe. Gibson was offered one last opportunity to pledge his oath to the king. In tremendous pain struggling to speak, Gibson yelled, “Frreeedommmm!!!!” The king’s axeman beheaded him.
The cost of Freedom.
The tyrannical regime thought the public torture, execution and dismemberment of their leader would discourage the people. It was wrong. The people rose up, fueled by outrage and with a new passion, defeated the regime and won their freedom.
Braveheart is a movie based on true events. Its message is true. Freedom is not free, worth dying for and is achievable regardless of an oppressor’s strength, if one’s will is strong enough.
My gut tells me that the will of ‘”We The People” is sufficient and will defeat Obama, the Democrats, RINOs and the MSM.
Thus, I am pleased to announce that the Tea Party is very much alive and well. I will continue shouting it from the rooftops on radio and TV. http://bit.ly/1BZuhSC
