Yes, the bad guys still use guns, but if they didn’t have them, they would still maim, mutilate, and murder. We saw what they did with airplanes.
While the murdering-Muslim Alton Nolen in Oklahoma could have used a gun to kill, he chose to behead Vaughan Foods co-worker Colleen Hufford with a knife.
It remains to be seen how this murder is going to be categorized by the Obama administration. Like the Ft. Hood incident, will it be classified as “workplace violence” or Islamic terrorism? We’re hearing how members of ISIS and ISIL have threatened to bring their terror to the United States. Unlike the innocent people they kill in their own countries, tens of millions of Americans are armed.
It was a bullet that stopped Nolen from beheading another victim. Mark Vaughan, an Oklahoma County reserve deputy and a former CEO of the business, shot Nolen as he was stabbing his second victim. Such acts are the reason the Second Amendment was included in the Constitution.
Liberals have been pushing for more gun regulation. There are some who want to outlaw guns or at least rewrite the Second Amendment. Will knives be next? It’s the logical step. Actually, knives are heavily regulated in the United States.
