Apollos Hester plays for the East View High School Patriots in Georgetown, Texas. Down 28 – 14 at halftime against their opponent, Vandergrift, on Friday, the Patriots mounted a comeback and won 42-41. After the game, Hester was interviewed by Lauren Mickler of Time Warner Cable Sports. She asked, “What were you guys able to do to come back and win this thing?”

From there, Hester’s infectious motivational speaking took over in a way that makes him appear to be more wise beyond his years. This young man will go far in life.
