Miranda Lambert may be sassy as all get out, but at her core, she’s a softie with a big heart. At a concert in Texas on Saturday, Lambert sang “Over You” to a 7-year-old fan stricken with cancer and it left the superstar in tears.
As Lambert strode across the stage, she noticed a sweet fan in the crowd who was younger than many of the fans at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi and clearly fighting cancer, with her head covered up by a pink cowgirl hat and a mask to help prevent germs from affecting her. The little girl is battling Stage IV Neuroblastoma cancer. She was diagnosed in 2010.
