CO Students Walk: Attention Students Everywhere!

Written by Paul Hair on October 5, 2014

Media outlets are gushing over Colorado students protesting and even refusing to attend classes because of their leftist beliefs, but as outrageous as this is those who wish to fight back should appropriate this event by encouraging students across the nation to walk out of school, too.

Mainstream media outlets giddily reported that Jefferson County, CO teachers and students protested and refused to attend school classes, in some cases shutting down entire school days. One would think that appropriate punishments would be forthcoming for all. But apparently that is not the case. Apparently it is okay to be bums and truants when you are doing so in the name of leftism:

Hundreds of students walked out of classrooms around suburban Denver on Tuesday in protest over a conservative-led school board proposal to focus history education on topics that promote citizenship, patriotism and respect for authority, in a show of civil disobedience that the new standards would aim to downplay.

The youth protest involving six high schools in the state’s second-largest school district follows a sick-out from teachers that shut down two high schools in the politically and economically diverse area that has become a key political battleground.

Student participants said their demonstration was organized by word of mouth and social media. Many waved American flags and carried signs, including messages that read “There is nothing more patriotic than protest.”

That’s interesting writing. It’s interesting because if you’re a Tea Partier just speaking your mind you’re a racist anarchist who hates Barack Hussein Obama and wants to destroy the nation. Yet the same Democratic-Media Complex that will label you as such rabidly encourages its fellow leftists to disobey the ever-decreasing parts of government they don’t yet fully control. Hence, “There is nothing more patriotic than protest,” when Marxists are the ones protesting and disobeying.

Closer examination of what is going on in Colorado also reveals the teachers and students aren’t really upset about a revised history curriculum. Instead, they are angry that conservatives won school board elections. This is something they cannot tolerate. Elections truly do have consequences . . . but only conservatives abide by them when they don’t go their way.

New media outlets are covering what is going on in Colorado and that is a good thing. But there is a unique opportunity here for conservatives to exploit that I haven’t yet heard anyone mention: take what the leftists are doing and turn the tables on them. Encourage students across the nation to follow the lead of the Jefferson County, CO students by refusing to attend school.

Marxists have taken over the education system and they fill children’s minds with all sorts of misinformation and negative propaganda. Schools are little more than leftist indoctrination centers; they are anti-intellectual at this point. Conservatives are well aware of this and the actions of the students and teachers in Colorado have now provided a way for conservatives to act instead of just talking about what is wrong.

Students across the nation should walk out of school. And they should do and learn useful things instead. Learn about the true history of the nation. Take up a trade or skill that will be useful throughout life. Read up on current events and formulate ideas about them. Think about possible future careers and how to achieve them. Have fun and make the most of being free from leftist indoctrination.

Apart from turning the tables on the left, those on the right can re-emphasize what a bunch of liars they are. They don’t care about children or think they need a solid education. Leftists are more than willing to use children as pawns to further their agenda and the fact they are willing to quit doing their jobs while encouraging children to quit going to school proves it.

Seizing control of this fight would be a powerful victory for the right. But it would take a prominent voice in order for this to happen. Any national, regional, or local radio talk show host could have a field day with promoting and organizing this pushback.

Marxists have been on the offensive for years and essentially have had nothing but victories. Here is a chance for those on the right to get a big victory of their own. Encourage students all over the country to quit going to school and to do something worthwhile instead.
