When asked about Obama’s attacks, Bush simply replied that it “doesn’t bother him.”
Bush noted that history will get his legacy “sorted out,” so he does not feel the need to defend his actions or attack his successor. Fox News’s Brian Kilmeade noted that Clinton refused to attack Bush’s father when he took office, and “W” refused to criticize Clinton, but Obama hasn’t extended the same courtesy.
