Those of us who know and understand the 2nd Amendment to our Constitution, and why it was included…are ever grateful for the prescience of our Founders. That Amendment recognized that man is imperfect and therefore capable of tyrannical behavior toward his fellow man. Therefore, a right of self-defense is necessary to keep the innocent safe, and as a deterrent to keep the peace.
But if you plan on living in an Islamic State…or a Western country that keeps appeasing Muslims…self-defense just became a fond memory…
If you happen to be an infidel (non-Muslim) under Sharia Islamic Law…don’t be looking for individual rights. That’s a no-no under Sharia. Unlike our Republic…a form of democracy…Sharia Law is taken directly from the Quran (words of Allah to Muhammed), the Sunnah (ways or traditions of Muhammed) and the Hadiths (the sayings of Muhammed).
These resources do not recognize individual freedom/rights, but rather the submission of all people…willingly or under severe duress…to the will of the Muslim god Allah, as per the words of Muhammed.
So, what about the right to bear arms for self-defense under Shariah Islamic Law? As a typical tyrannical system, Islam has worked out a non-Muslim’s “protection” as follows:
— A non-Muslim pays the Jizya (defined as penalty) for being an infidel dwelling in a Muslim country. THIS serves as your defense…it’s basically protection money to the Islamic State. You are now a Dhimmi or second-class citizen. There’s no need for self-defense because the government will protect you from outside forces. (My question is…who will protect you from forces WITHIN that Islamic government?)
— Under historic Sharia Laws and modern Dhimmi laws, non-Muslims cannot possess swords, firearms or weapons of any kind.
That latter point is strikingly antithetical to our 2nd Amendment, which states: “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” In other words, as a Dhimmi under Islamic Law…you are a sitting duck, surrounded by those who are impelled by their holy books to either force you to submit to Islam (Islam means submission), be enslaved (and as a Dhimmi, you’re halfway there), or die by the sword….because after all, Allah created us infidels to “fuel the fires of hell” (Quran 72:15).
Islam’s Holy War even extends to a Jihad on our personal defenses….and I have to say: I love my freedom WAY too much to EVER submit to that!
