The Lunatics At PETA Hate Doug Giles. Find Out Why

The Daily Surge sits down with ClashDaily’s Doug Giles to discuss why he’d write a book on the now politically incorrect activity called, ‘Hunting.’

If you think Jesus is really a bearded, vegan hippy, then you should check out Doug Giles’ latest book Rise, Kill and Eat: A Theology of Hunting from Genesis to Revelation. This book will make militant tree-huggers and card-carrying PETA members wet their pants.

God, from Genesis to Revelation, is extremely cool with hunters and hunting, according to Giles, the man behind Clash Daily. Jesus Christ, he argues, was in fact a fish slayer and meat eater.

“You cannot show me, through the balance of the Bible, that the God of the Scriptures is against the responsible killing and grilling of the animals He created,” Giles told Daily Surge. “There is no place in the scripture that I have ever read that is anti-hunting.”

Giles became motivated to write Rise, Kill and Eat when he moved to Florida from Texas and encountered people who were stunned that he hunted his food.

“As a Christian—I know its not cool to be that but I am one—I became surrounded by very secularized, oh-so-sassy-saints down here in South Florida that looked at me cross-eyed when I told them what we were eating for dinner and that I was okay with putting the bam to Bambi,” Giles said.

People started asking Giles if he was insane when they found out he was an avid hunter and professed that Jesus would never want anyone to hunt. Giles decided to go to the Bible and found out what it had to say as a piece of literature about hunting.

The first explicit biblical example of God condoning hunting in the Bible is Genesis 9 after the flood that Noah survived for forty days and forty nights with the animals on the arc.

“Once the flood waters subsided, God told Noah, that all the animals on board were his to eat,” Doug said. “Hunting is not like the left or anti-hunters purport it to be, as a kind of necessary evil but it’s a blessing for those who are able to do it and enjoy the benefits thereof.”

A majority of Christians, Doug believes, are clueless on the topic of hunting especially when it comes to what the scripture says about it.

“A lot of squishy Christians borrow their worldview from Justin Bieber or Shakira instead of Jesus,” Giles said, “I am trying to slap their brain and really make them think instead of borrow equity off of a failing world view system that has nothing to do with Western Civilization.”

“I love to ask Christians—especially hipster, skinny jean types who prides themselves on being hyper-spiritual—who killed the first animal according to the Bible,” he said. “I point them to Genesis 3:21, where it is says Adam and Eve covered themselves with fig leaves until the Lord killed an animal and clothed them with the skin of an animal.”
