INFECTION! Humanistic Sympathy Poisons Righteous Causes

Imagine this. A paedophile has been found guilty of child sex abuse. The judge asks him why he thinks he should not be guilty. He says, “I was seduced by the young teenager” or “I was groomed that way”.

A man has been found guilty of murdering a woman. The judge asks him why he should not be guilty. He says that he was asked by someone to murder her and he was. Perhaps, he might have received a murder threat if he did not commit the murder. So, he committed the murder and is charged accordingly to the law. Surely, media and the public would be in an uproar at the pathetic moral excuse.

Similarly, a woman who chooses to abort her baby does so intentionally. Despite pressure or threats made against her if she did not murder her child, the 21st century pro-life movement says that the woman is not at any moral fault for the murdering of her baby. It says that it is not her fault for that because of pressure or threats made against her, despite having a choice to avoid abortion. She could easily have called police to arrest threats of violence against her, or called a genuine pro-life pregnancy crisis clinic. It all the more renders her with no excuse for even thinking of aborting her child, let alone obtaining the abortion.

Many member of the pro-life movement, especially some of those women, get extremely offended whenever someone rightly points out that the woman who chooses to abort her baby is morally at fault. Whatever you might think, whoever voluntarily does an act is responsible for it. These women start to grow horn and claws, exposing the devil inside of them, attempting to shift the blame or part of the blame to others – doctors, nurses, family members or fornicating, adulterous sexual partners. The perniciousness of such thinking is dominant in modern society as a whole and obvious, but yet the most overlooked.

No one dares to call abortion for what it is: murder. They fear being called a “hater” for calling it murder, and those who abort, or think of aborting a baby, murderers. Such is the humanistic sympathy towards abortion. Abortion is deemed to be a “hard” choice in the moral sense, all in the name of sexualised liberalism. Anyone who calls a woman who aborts her child a murderer is called a hateful, harsh person at best and a misogynist at worst – just because she is a woman.

Humanistic sympathy sympathises with sin, and recognises sin only when it “hurts” people. It seeks to fight sin, not for being sin, that is, transgression of God’s moral Law, but because it makes those who seek to fight the particular sin feel more secure in their earthly life.

Feminists fight pornography because it makes them feel offended, not because it is wrong in and of itself. Humanist peace activists speak out against war because it destroys “tolerance”, not because it is wrong in and of itself. Occupy Wall Street speaks out against usury because it makes life harder for the majority, not because it is wrong in and of itself. Secular men’s rights activists speak out against domestic violence because it makes life harder, not because it is wrong in and of itself. Communists fight against the exploitation of the poor by the rich in search for a stable society, not because it is wrong in and of itself.

This spirit of humanism has indeed crept into even the movements that are supposedly conservative and Christian, such as the pro-life movement. So often, those who are “conservative” or profess to be Christians speak against the humanism of their enemies – the radicals or progressives. However, the spirit of humanism indeed dominates most conservative movements today. The spirit of humanism has seduced even the church, the only thing in the world that is supposed to be against, and has the capability of being against humanism.

The spirit of humanism is of the devil who said to Eve, “You shall be like God”. The devil is evermore busy in telling humanity that “You shall be like God”. The world, that is, the unsaved cannot see it because they are blinded by the god of the world (2 Corinthians 4:4).

The luciferian spirit says “You shall be like God”. It seeks to blind humanity into thinking that it can decide to do anything it likes as it chooses, in any way, and however as one chooses. He does not tell humanity not do good. Rather, he tells it that it can be good as it sees fit.

However, the Bible says that “no one is good, no not one” (Romans 3:10). Humanity is not good; it is completely depraved of good. Setting up one’s own standards of goodness would be to replace God’s authority with one’s own. It would be to mock and show contempt against God. Humans by nature are “haters of God” (Romans 1:30).

The devil must be laughing at the world and the church for not seeing his work in the world. The world cannot be expected to see such things. Only the true church has the ability to.

The true church must rise up and attack the luciferian spirit of humanism which seduces humanity into making itself into its own god. It needs to instil the fear of God in the lost, preach the Gospel to the dying world and shine like salt and light in the world.
