FISHY: ‘We Investigated Where Michael Moore’s Uncle Was Killed & Here’s What We Found’
This is interesting. Someone forward this to Michael Moore.
We went digging and found a photo of his uncle, Herbert “Lornie” Moore.
Ancestry.com claims that Moore was killed on March 10, 1945 in Manila.
The person who uploaded the photo two years ago said Moore was killed on March 12, 1945.
In 2009 Moore claimed that his uncle was killed in the Philippines in an interview but we couldn’t find any evidence that his uncle Lornie was killed by a sniper.
We did, however, find some material on a Herbert T. Moore who was also killed in action in the Philippines and buried in Flint, Michigan.
We found Herbert T. Moore killed in action on a troop website.
