And Taylor Swift certainly appeared to be having a Mean Girls moment on Sunday night, after she was forced to sit next to controversial politician Sarah Palin at the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Celebration in NYC.

Just as the classic line ‘you can’t sit with us!’ from the movie suggests, Taylor appeared to be somewhat annoyed by the arrangement, as cameras caught the air of awkwardness between the pair.
