Mountain Lion Eats Deer Under Family’s Outdoor Deck: “Evidently the mountain lion wanted his deer more than the kids”

This family is lucky that Mountain Lion preferred to have deer for dinner.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – A Colorado Springs family had a close encounter with a mountain lion Friday morning.

Family members said they were raking the yard with the children when a neighbor told them to get inside immediately. The neighbor took a picture of a mountain lion just a few feet from their home.

“Evidently the mountain lion wanted his deer more than the kids, so we lucked out today,” resident Steve Luebbert said.
