Friday’s hearing on the threat of the Islamic State, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn said he does not think the national security strategy prioritizes international threats against the United States.

President Obama has sent a proposal to Congress for the authorization of military force to fight against the threat of IS. Flynn said the president had used the term “Islamic State.” This action recognizes that there is a faction of radical Islam that wants to commit terroristic threats.
