The confession tapes showed that Eddie Ray Routh knew exactly what he was doing, and even more, he knew that it was wrong.

The video reportedly reveals a chilling admission made over the course of one-and-a-half hours in February 2013.

Judge Alex Ferrer joined Megyn Kelly to discuss how the footage could be used.

Ferrer said that the prosecution will use parts of the video to argue that Routh knew right from wrong, which would invalidate an insanity plea.
