JIHAD AGAINST #TWITTER: ISIS targets Twitter Founder and Employees, Placing Them in Terrorist Cross-hairs

Even though ISIS uses Twitter to recruit and spread propaganda, they’re going after its founder and their employees.

Islamic State militants have reportedly urged their followers to target Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and employees of the social media platform because of its efforts to rein in jihadi propaganda posts.

In an online post Sunday, the militant group, which took hostage hundreds of Assyrian Christians after seizing a host of villages in northeastern Syria last week, called on its supporters to kill Dorsey and other Twitter staffers for blocking jihadist social media accounts and macabre execution-video tweets,BuzzFeed News reported.

“You started this failed war,” says the Islamic State post, which also includes a picture of Dorsey in crosshairs, according to a translation cited by BuzzFeed. “We told you from the beginning it’s not your war, but you didn’t get it and kept closing our accounts on Twitter, but we always come back.”

“For the ‘individual jihadi’ all over the world, target the Twitter company and its interests in any place, people, and buildings, and don’t allow any one of the atheists to survive.”
