MICHELLE OBAMA TO GRADS: ‘Shape The Revolutions Of Your Time’

The First Lady encourages some newly graduated ‘revolutionaries’. How progressive of her.

First Lady Michelle Obama encouraged graduates at Oberlin College on Sunday to “rise above the noise and shape the revolutions of your time.”

Speaking at the commencement ceremony for the northeastern Ohio liberal arts college, Obama urged graduates to “actively seek out the most contentious, polarized, gridlocked places you can find” and lay the groundwork for change.

“Because so often, throughout our history,” Obama said, “those have been the places where progress really happens — the places where minds are changed, lives transformed, where our great American story unfolds.”
