Following each and every atrocity perpetrated by ISIS–the old platitude that the Islamic State “doesn’t represent Islam” is trumpeted from such places as the White House, US Department of State, US Department of Defense, most media outlets and (sadly) the GOP establishment.
Whether ISIS commits mass beheadings, gang rapes, child molestations, or the incendiary destruction of churches in Syria and Iraq–this platitude has become the constant war cry of those trying to sell us the BS notion that “Islam is a religion of peace.”
That’s right: BS notion.
While ISIS fiendishly labors to convince the world that it is following the very dictates and dogmas of Islam (i.e. Koran 8:12)–the aforementioned bootlickers rush to the nearest microphone to lecture us that the latest ISIS massacre of Assyrian Christians is not representative of Islam.
The most glaring, if not noxious example of this sort of rush took place moments after ISIS released a video in which a young Jordanian pilot was burned alive. Yes, the bootlickers wasted no time in reminding us that Islam doesn’t condone such evil.
Well, I beg to differ.
According to Dr. Stephen M. Kirby, author of Islam According to Muhammad , Not Your Neighbor: Islam’s founder, Muhammad–was an unabashed arsonist.
Dr. Kirby notes the following concerning Muhammad’s penchant for fire: “In December 627 Muhammad led an attack against the Al-Mustalaq tribe. Because that tribe fought back, Muhammad ordered their fortifications to be set on fire, even though the Muslims knew there were women and children inside.”
Kirby also points us to the Hadith (the traditions and sayings of Muhammad) to further underscore the fact that burning people alive is permissible under Islam:
The messenger of Allah said: “I was thinking of commanding that the call to prayer be given, then I would tell a man to lead the people in prayer, then I would go out with some other men carrying bundles of wood, and go to people who do not attend the prayer, and burn their houses down around them.”
Sunan Ibn Majah, No. 791
This, by no means–is an exhaustive list. Kirby’s research unearthed a glut of irrefutable evidence that Islam permits the immolation of human beings (as well beheadings, rape and pedophilia)–but I think you get the point.
So, here’s the final analysis: ISIS burns people alive because Islam’s founder, Muhammad, did. Therefore, ISIS DOES represent Islam.
