Like The Scarlet Letter’s Reverend Dimsdale, Bruce Jenner continues to torture himself as if he were possessed by some self-loathing inner demon. Jenner’s repulsive emasculation also has liberal purists jubilant, as if they were raptured by the pagan gods Roger Chillingworth worships. Ironically, Bruce is like Hester Prynne, too — shamed by the left for his professed faith in conservative values.
As you probably remember from Nathaniel Hawthorne’s thematic message, sin plagues all of us. We are all broken people in need of God’s redemption.
In the novel, the Puritan Reverend Arthur Dimsdale punishes himself for having lasciviously fathered a child with Hester Prynne. After the community brands Hester with the scarlet letter of shame, her forsaken husband, “the Leech” returns to Boston and assumes the identity of Roger Chillingworth. Disguised as a doctor he executes his twisted vengeance on the tormented Reverend Dimsdale.
Like all great literature, the story is a symbol of truth, and Bruce Jenner’s disturbing reality certainly exemplifies Hawthorne’s uncomfortable message.
As Jenner’s own story unfolds, the leeches on the left are dementedly gleeful over Jenner’s grotesque emergence on the cover of Vanity Fair. After being mutilated by their medical quacks, Jenner’s cosmetic disguise looks a lot like a woman. His deranged metamorphosis will be complete after the medical sadists castrate the former icon of American virility and equip him with a symbol of liberal purity — a veneer vagina.
Once the journey is over, liberal compassion will have another victory in its war against American testosterone.
In fact, as a tribute to Jenner’s emasculation, liberals will soon adorn Jenner with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2015 ESPYs. Jenner’s self-mutilation inspired by his mental illness earned him the award over a selfless army veteran turned distance runner and motivational speaker who lost his arm and leg fighting in Iraq.
The pagans of liberalism clearly have a different definition of courage than the rest of us. Of course, they have different definitions for a lot of words. For instance, normal people can see that abortion is murder, but liberals define it as choice. Normal people also know self-defense is not murder. But when minority criminals die attacking non-minority victims, liberals define the consequences asmurder, injustice and racism.
Furthermore, liberals will soon define marriage as sodomy / polyamory and eventually other sexual deviancies. Liberals’ definition of morality obviously means whatever exotic behavior they have the impulse for that they don’t want people with Christian morals to judge.
Their goal is obvious. The religion of liberalism aims to redefine reality. When lies become truth and truth becomes lies, liberals will have purified the world of all that is good and decent.
As for Jenner, liberals are lining up to exploit this deranged wretch. Undaunted by his pitiful illness, they indignantly demand that the rest of us play along in this morbid fantasy.
At least Bruce Jenner can blame his problem on medical classifications like delusion, psychosis, or emotional unhappiness. But what do liberals have as an excuse?
Reveling in the illness of a disturbed man is just sick. But thanks to the liberals in the American Psychiatric Association, verbal remedies have inspired the left to pretend that Bruce Jenner’s mental illness no longer exists. To a liberal, when quack doctors redefined gender identity disorder as gender dysphoria in 2012, reality no longer existed.
Banishing the word disorder magically mitigated the stigma for gender delusional people — as far as liberals are concerned.
The DSM-5 is the official manual of mental disorders. It removed homosexuality from the manual to mitigate its social stigma, but gender delusion (a.k.a. dysphoria to liberals) remains in the manual. Its inclusion permits the disorder to receive medical treatment — but liberals tell these psychotic patients that they are not crazy.
Maybe the DSM-5 should include liberalism as a mental disorder. But these nuts have more of a spiritual problem along the lines of Islamic terrorists. To liberals and jihadists, America’s Constitution and Christian values are curses to the world. But normal people know that embracing deviancy and immorality has always been the problem.
The disdain liberals have for productive and wholesome values is not surprising. America’s traditional virtues are not compatible with a demonic culture of government dependency and self-indulgence. Self-reliance and personal responsibility diametrically oppose everything liberals purists hold dear.
To the pagans of liberalism, Jenner’s psychotic persona is a savior. “Caitlyn” Jenner can now champion similar delusional people who are targets of violence and repudiation by special interest minorities championed by the left. Liberals refuse to admit that Americans with traditional values are not crazy people’s problem. Godless liberals are.
The left’s wicked desires demand that normal people ignore inconvenient truths — like Bruce Jenner will always be a man.
In fact, maybe liberals and Islamic jihadists are the only people on earth more psychotic than people like Bruce Jenner. At least Bruce doesn’t appear to hate or seek revenge on those he perceives have wronged him. In that way, Bruce really is like Hester Prynn. But until he sincerely seeks God’s grace and mercy, he’ll go on torturing himself like Reverend Dimsdale.
Liberal purists, on the other hand, will continue branding conservatives with the left’s emblems of hate.
