The act of Islamic terrorism that occurred on July 16th was the result of feckless policies and positions of the US government, which enabled another devout Muslim to carry out Jihad. A position of ignorance of the ideology of the enemy we face, and a policy of gross irresponsibility in disarming those whose job is to defend our citizens.
There are two ways to arm oneself. One way is with critical information (especially about your enemy) in order to make prudent decisions. The other way is to exercise the human right to self-defense and arm yourself responsibly, with a firearm.
Concerning arming oneself with critical info…much of the careless ignorance about our enemy began with the Clinton administration…especially concerning the Clinton’s relationship with the terrorist entity known as the Muslim Brotherhood. Sadly, this ignorance was reinforced by the second Bush administration after the horrific Islamic attack on 9-11, when President Bush began to spread the falsehood that Islam was a “religion of peace”. The Obama administration took this to the extreme and embedded Muslim Brotherhood (MB) members into Homeland Security positions (the terror group Hamas is a wing of the MB).
The incredible intellectual laziness on the part of most in Washington…who were elected to serve the people and defend the Constitution, which preserves our individual freedoms: Is criminally abominable. The information on the ideology of Islam and its barbaric 1,400 year history, as well as its draconian Sharia Law construct…is more accessible today than at any other time in history. And yet, our government and the Western media continue, as Churchill said, “feeding the crocodile…hoping it will eat them last”. And as Reagan added…”but eat you he will.”
Ignorance in place…now comes the imprudent decisions…
Now, as much as I like to hold the Clinton’s culpable…because there’s so much blood on their hands…Bill Clinton did NOT establish the ban on firearms on Military bases. Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 5210.56, which initially banned firearms on Military bases was signed into effect in February 1992 by Donald J. Atwood, deputy secretary of defense under President George H.W. Bush. Clinton DID, however, reissue the ban with Army Regulation 190-14 in 1993, which reinforced the DoD Directive. AND it was reissued again under Obama in 2011.
Ignorance plus unwise decisions equals: Peril for Free People…
Prescient Founder, Benjamin Franklin once said, “Admiration is the daughter of ignorance.” The calamities we are now experiencing in the West is the daughter of ignorance of our leaders, in their admiration for an ideology that has enslaved, tortured, raped and slaughtered millions in 1,400 years. And Islam continues its work of destruction, based on the hatred found in its holy texts…with the help of its Western admirers.
But the greater danger afflicting us in the West is preventing our own defense. Another one of our extraordinary Founders, James Madison, once said: “Americans have the right and advantage of being armed, unlike the citizens of other countries whose governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.” (The Federalist, No. 46 at 243- 244). To mistrust the people and disarm those who volunteered to protect the innocent, is obtuse to the point of evil.
The choice is again ours. Will we continue to give the ill-advised and ignorant, pretending to lead us, the opportunity to destroy what so many have given blood and treasure to preserve? It’s time to demand righteousness instead of rhetoric from our leaders.
