ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT’S DREAM? Carve California into Pieces, Create Sanctuary State

California has become the Promised Land for millions of illegal alien immigrants for several decades. With the avalanche of over 200 plus sanctuary cities in the nation and a president unwilling to enforce federal immigration law effectively, perhaps a sanctuary state should be created right in California. According to Fox News, last year billionaire venture capitalist Timothy Draper backed a petition drive to break California into six states.

This might be the solution to many of California’s and America’s illegal immigrant problems. Much like the country of Australia began as a British penal colony; one of the new states created by the breakup of California could be designated as a sanctuary state.

All of the illegal immigrants that come across the border or are in America illegally could be strongly and legally encouraged to pull up their illegal stakes from other states and move to the newly created and congressionally designated Sanctuary State.

Does it sound a little far-fetched for most Americas to think that a portion of land could be set aside for the relocation of illegal aliens? Just examine your American history and you will see that this was done by Congress to many American Indian tribes who were placed upon reservations by the tens of thousands.

This may end up solving some very unique problems for sanctuary city supporters who are so enamored at giving illegal alien immigrants the ability to reside in the United States without being accosted by those “troublesome” meddling legal immigration authorities who attempt to enforce immigration law.

California, which already has a staggering population of 38 million people, of which a massive number of illegal aliens make up a good portion of that, would be off the hook regarding funding their health, education, housing and other services.

Last year the billionaire advocate claimed he had enough legal signatures or a total of the 808,000 signatures needed on a petition to force the six-state measure onto a public referendum in November of 2016. Perhaps this six-state measure should be tweaked a bit if it passes to designate one of the states to be Sanctuary State.

Of course Draper has his own perhaps altruistic reasons for splitting the state into six separate entities. He reportedly claims, according to Fox News, that the state is simply too large to adequately address many of the issues and concerns of its population. The billionaire wants a reboot so that the current residents would live in new states, more representative and accountable to improving the lives of its current residents.

Therefore, depending upon where a current Californian lived, one may either be living in the richest state in the nation or the bottom of the barrel state in the union. As an example, “Silicon Valley would become the nation’s richest state, while Central California would become its poorest, according to the nonpartisan Legislative Analyst’s Office,” reported Fox News.

This may be just the plan that a more conservative Congress may be looking for in helping to deal with an escalating growth of sanctuary cities in America. If the plan is approved by voters in California in 2016, a new conservative president and conservative Congress may just be what the immigration doctor ordered in providing an illegal immigration prescription the nation desires desperately.
