Police in California shot and killed a man they say stabbed six people on Friday.
Long Beach officers were called near a convalescent home shortly before 8:30 p.m. where they confronted a suspect and shot him to death, Sgt. Megan Zabel said. The suspect’s name has not been released by the department.
Five of the six victims were taken to hospitals and one person was treated and released from the scene, Long Beach Fire Department spokesman Brian Fisk said. The conditions of those taken to the hospitals range from critical to suffering from superficial wounds.
