NOT FALLING FOR IT: Media Tries to Bait Trump & Fails Miserably

Donald Trump received a lot of negative news coverage last week, but that hasn’t stopped him from cruising ahead.

If you recall, Trump held a town hall event last week, and the first question he received was a doozy: “We have a problem in this country. It’s called Muslims. You know our current president is one. You know he’s not even an American. We have training camps growing where they want to kill us. That’s my question—when can we get rid of them?”

Liberal backlash against Trump flooded in like a tidal wave. Why? Because apparently, Trump is responsible for protecting President Obama from words that come out of other peoples’ mouths.

“Am I morally obligated to defend the president every time somebody says something bad or controversial about him? I don’t think so!” Trump posted to Twitter.

Debate over this debacle continued through the weekend as the liberal media spun an elaborate and overblown story, as per usual. However, if there’s one thing Donald Trump excels at, it’s cutting through the bullshit.

You need to watch the video of this CNN interview and hear Trump’s response for yourself:

CNN host Jake Tapper asked Trump if, as the “frontrunner in the Republican race,” he believed he had “a responsibility to call out this hatred?”

Trump’s response demonstrated just how much of a spin this question was on the actual problem facing America. “Are you saying we don’t have a problem?” Trump asked Tapper. “Because…we certainly do have a problem,” he continued, “We have radicals that are doing things. I mean, it wasn’t people from Sweden that blew up the World Trade Center, Jake.”
