FBI DIRECTOR: Puts Obama’s Muslim Refugee Policy On Blast And He’s TICKED
He has a pen and a phone: and he isn’t afraid to use them.
He has a plan for what America really needs, and he’s not asking the public’s opinion. What he wants, he gets, one way or another — because, really, who’s left to stop him?
The last thing Obama would expect was a public beat down by a government official. Can you imagine his surprise when that’s exactly what the FBI Director gave him?
Remember Kerry’s announcement? The one where we should expect 70,000 refugees in 2015. Then expect it to ramp up to 85,000 in 2016. And, naturally, it will continue to rise to 100,000 in 2017.
When the public objected to this plan, we were told to pound sand. Our objections were dismissed with cold assurances that the highest possible screening methods would be applied to each refugee. Was anything done to stop them?
Of course not. Because bringing in waves of refugees is the “nice” and “compassionate” thing to do. (Or at least, that’s how it has been framed.) And the Progressives lie in wait, ready to label anyone who might dare to contradict them a heartless SOB.
Because name-calling is enough to make their critics run for cover — usually.
But not this time. The Director of the FBI (James Comey) doesn’t cower in fear of such labels. He is in a position to contradict the narrative. So he did.
The Big Claim — offered by Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson — is that bringing in wave after wave of refugee is harmless, because “the refugee review process is probably one of the most if not the most extensive thorough background checks that someone seeking to enter this country goes through.”
Comey asks the obvious question: what happens if we don’t have any background information on the applicant?
Do you really think people flooding across multiple countries have all their paperwork in order? Even if they had them to begin with, have those documents been stolen? Sold? Traded for safe passage?
Would any of the dishonest among them have bothered to keep papers that identified them as problems?
What real confidence can we have in this so-called vetting process if we have no objective measurement of identity? How will we know which among them has a criminal past? Or who fought alongside ISIS?
We don’t. For all the assurances we are given, many — if not most — of the refugees are literal blank slates. If one were as harmless as Mother Theresa, and another as cruel as Idi Amin, how would we know which was which? We don’t.
And unless we’re going to house them all in Martha’s Vineyard while we sort out who’s who, it is the highest hypocrisy for wealthy people sequestered snug in their gated communities to tell the rest of us that there is no National obligation to be selective in who enters through our National borders.
