The beatings will continue until morale improves. That seems to be the primary order our current Commander in Chief is giving the military he commands. In what some veterans are calling a highly suspect ruling, Master Sgt. Nathan Sommers was found guilty of disobeying an order, making a false official statement and failing to arrive at an appointed place. His real crime against the Army lead by the Muslim in Chief? Having an anti-Obama bumper sticker on his personal car.
Yup. Master Sgt. Sommers was previously reprimanded for his bumper sticker and having the gall, the utter disgrace towards the Obama, to read books by conservative authors during his lunch break- a lunch break which apparently included meals from…..Chic fil-A!!! I know, how is this guy not serving 25 to life in Leavenworth right now?? According to Sommers’ interview on Fox News, that treatment alone made him suspect he was being discriminated against. Apparently, Sommers found himself in the crosshairs in 2014 when a superior explained that his choice of reading and eating and along with his bumper was causing “unnecessary workplace tension”. Boy, it never ceases to sicken me how quickly the 1st Amendment gets tossed out the window by the very philosophy claiming to “free” and “empower” everyone.

Now, maybe President Obama can be exempt from this awkward situation. I mean, how can he be expected be responsible or even knowledgeable of everything going on in his military when there’s still so much golf still to play? You might think Obama has nothing to do with Master Sgt. Sommer’s railroading, but you’d be wrong. Only in Obama’s Marx-colored universe where he can ignore and blame the military when it suits his plans, only to leverage his authority as Commander in Chief other times would he completely fail to understand that American soldiers don’t actually exist to serve him. Every member of the American military bears allegiance to protect the Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic, but nowhere in that oath are they required to swear allegiance to the President similar to, say, the German soldier’s personal oath to Hitler. Obama, or at the very least the four or five left-leaning American soldiers, seem to think that just because you chose to put on the uniform to protect these shores, you’ve forfeited your right to read a book and eat a meal of your choosing on your down time.
Tell me I’m over-doing it people, but if you’re reprimanded for disliking President Obama thereby causing “workplace tension”, how soon before reading the “wrong” book means you’re at fault for inciting “workplace violence” – since we know that could never be a terrorist act?
