A police raid on the car of an abortionist with a history of violations has revealed containers of human tissue —possibly aborted babies — and medical equipment, leading investigators to hypothesize that Michael Arthur Roth may have been performing illegal abortions out of the trunk of his car.
Police in West Bloomfield, Michigan found “14 containers of human tissue, possibly fetuses, medical equipment and large amounts of Fentanyl, a drug used for pain and sedation,” reports ABC affiliate 7 Action News.
The discovery of the contents of Roth’s trunk came about haphazardly. Two weeks ago, Roth hit a child with special needs, who was critically injured. After his car was impounded when police began the investigation into the accident, officers obtained a search warrant to obtain the “black box” data recorder from the car and discovered the human tissue in containers and medical equipment during the search. The Fentanyl was found in the console of the passenger compartment, and no labels or medical records were found with the containers.
