So, on the off chance you aren’t consummate Hillary followers — and why on earth wouldn’t you be — the presumptive Democratic Presidential nominee recently got annihilated on Twitter (again). During last Sunday’s Democratic debate, Hillary undoubtedly thought she was proudly speaking the commoner’s language when she declared, “There should be no bank too big to fail and no individual too big to jail.”
Her staff immediately posted that to Twitter in what can only be justified as Hillary’s submission in the “Most Ironic Tweet By A Criminal Politician” category for this year’s Twitter Awards Show (slightly less well known than the Oscar’s but far more relevant).
As the Washington Examiner reported, the Twitter community was all too happy to remind Hillary that not only does she qualify as an “individual” but she is facing the very real possibility of jail as well.
Hillary is either so arrogant that she’s willing to essentially publicly challenge the FBI to indict her or she’s so ignorant about the damage of her crimes that she still doesn’t’ get that accepting bribes through your nonprofit and ignoring basic security protocols are actually big deals. The problem is, she is both arrogant and ignorant!
This leads me to believe that her arrogance is fueling her ignorance. Let’s face it; if the Clinton’s had a family crest, “Our Arrogance Fuels Our Ignorance” would be dead center on it. It’s well known that the FBI is taking their investigation very seriously and essentially challenging the Department of Justice to ignore the mountain of evidence against Hillary by not indicting her.
Hillary must be aware that she doesn’t have a lot of friends near this investigation and is either relying on the power of her last name or assuming the Democratic Party’s paralyzing fear that she is their only hope in winning the White House in 2016 will protect her.
Of course, it’s equally possible that Hillary simply figured she could get away with saying any old imbecilic nonsense on Sunday. Rather conveniently, the debate – like all the Democratic debates before it- was being televised on a day and time when most of America wouldn’t be watching. In this case it was on a Sunday night over a holiday weekend and up against the NFL playoffs.
How’s that for transparency, America!
