Fox News BLASTS Trump For SLAMMING Megyn Kelly… So Trump Did THIS
Fox News recently released a statement about the ongoing feud between Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump in response to this Tweet:
Everybody should boycott the @megynkelly show. Never worth watching. Always a hit on Trump! She is sick, & the most overrated person on tv.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 18, 2016
Here was what they had to say:
“Donald Trump’s vitriolic attacks against Megyn Kelly and his extreme, sick obsession with her is beneath the dignity of a presidential candidate who wants to occupy the highest office in the land,” the network stated. “Megyn is an exemplary journalist and one of the leading anchors in America — we’re extremely proud of her phenomenal work and continue to fully support her throughout every day of Trump’s endless barrage of crude and sexist verbal assaults.”
“As the mother of three young children, with a successful law career and the second highest rated show in cable news, it’s especially deplorable for her to be repeatedly abused just for doing her job.”
After releasing that the other network’s stars joined in:
Enough. @megynkelly is not crazy-she's not sick. We'll continue to cover this race fairly. https://t.co/8eKaVTLhd0 https://t.co/hiVJtV0zQN

@realDonaldTrump @megynkelly I love you man but basta. This obsession w @megynkelly is weird & unhelpful. She's doing her job, you do yours.

After seeing the backlash, this was the statement that the Donald Trump campaign released about the entire situation:
