Another Tuesday, another big voting day in the 2016 presidential race as Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, John Kasich and Marco Rubio continue to fight for the Republican nomination, while Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders keep battling on the Democratic side.
Five states — Florida, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, and Ohio — host both Republican and Democratic nominating contests.
Polls have now closed in Florida, Ohio and North Carolina.
Polls favor Trump to win at least four of the five states as the billionaire businessman and former Atlantic City casino tycoon vies to make his nomination all but certain. He’s also in a close fight with Kasich in the Ohio governor’s home state but appears to be pulling away in Florida.
