Assemblymember Bill Quirk has been listening to CAIR, introducing a bill on their behalf. He has forgotten — if he ever knew — about its ties to terrorism.
He drank the Kool-Aid and is now their PC patsy, tripping over himself to show how “inclusive” his is.
What’s the bill about? Here, in his own words:
“I am proud to celebrate the first ever Muslim Appreciation and Awareness Month by honoring generations of Muslim Americans for their many social, cultural, and economic contributions to California,” Assemblymember Quirk stated. “The rhetoric surrounding this election makes the presentation of this resolution more important for me,” he said. “It is appropriate to acknowledge and promote awareness of the myriad invaluable contributions of Muslim Americans in California and across the country, and extend to them the respect and camaraderie every American deserves.”
He goes on to list a sharp rise of “bias incidents” suffered by Muslims in the last year. Including everything from school bullying to questioning by law enforcement. (Yes, it’s seriously somebody’s job to track these numbers.)
Maybe the good citizens of San Bernardino would have an opinion about California’s “Muslim Appreciation Month” and this “sharp rise” in “bias incidents”.
