It was a high-risk gamble, but since Team Hillary had gone all-in with their TrumpTape, the time for ‘safe’ bets was over. Was it the right call?
The media had set up a carefully-crafted no-win ‘do you still beat your wife’ question for which any answer Trump offered could be spun against him.
A media that is taking marching orders from Hillary was salivating over the possibility of destroying Trump.
But Trump threw a wrench in their plans — the ONE thing fake Liberal victims cannot talk their way out of — REAL victims of Liberals.
The women wronged by BOTH Clintons held the feet of a hostile media to the fire, exposing their lop-sided interest in this story. So long as it *might* hurt Trump, they want to know. Clinton? Not so much.
Donald Trump took the gloves off 90 minutes before Sunday night’s debate against Hillary Clinton, holding a meeting with four ghosts from Bill Clinton’s sexual past – and letting a handful of unsympathetic reporters in to hear them speak.
Trump introduced his coalition of the willing – Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broaddrick, Kathy Shelton and Paula Jones – in St. Louis as a press pool snapped shutters and reporters shouted questions about a new audio recording of Trump saying vulgar things about women 11 years ago.
Broaddrick, an Arkansas nursing home administrator who has accused Bill Clinton of forcibly raping her when he was the state’s attorney general, said that ‘actions speak louder than words.’
‘Mr. Trump may have said some bad words, but Bill Clinton raped me. And Hillary Clinton threatened me. I don’t think there’s any comparison.’
…Shelton was raped at age 12 by a man whom Hillary Clinton defended in court. She has blamed the current Democratic presidential nominee for casting her as an unbalanced, untrustworthy child prone to sexual fantasies, and plea-bargaining her client down to a misdemeanor.
‘At 12 years old Hillary put me through something that you would never put a 12-year-old through,’ Shelton said.
‘And she says she’s for women and children. And she was asked last year what happened, and she said she’s supposed to defend [clients] whether they did it or not. Now she’s laughing on tape, saying she –’
Hillary’s been pointing back to her care and concern of women and children back to the days before she and Bill were even married. IF those days are to be held up as examples of how she cared, than her victims should be held up as examples of how she failed to.
…’Why did you say you touched women without their consent, Mr. Trump?’ asked a CBS News journalist.
At that Paula Jones exploded.
‘Why don’t y’all go ask Bill Clinton that?’ she exclaimed.
‘Go ahead, ask Hillary as well!’
The ladies in attendance could not have their answers spun against Trump. Nor could their criticisms of Clinton be easily dismissed without making themselves look like heartless beasts.
So, to those of you at home we ask: Did the gamble pay off?
