Well, in New York, one school set up a voting day. It went horribly RIGHT.
An elementary school has cancelled a mock presidential election after some young students repeated ‘negative rhetoric about minorities’ promoted by Donald Trump.
Jericho Elementary School in Centereach, New York, announced it had scrapped the vote that was due to take place this Friday.
Principal Glen Rogers revealed the decision was made after teachers complained about what some children had been chanting around the school and in the cafeteria.
‘Teachers have said they’ve heard some kids in the cafeteria chanting “Trump! Trump! Trump!” or saying they don’t want Muslims here,’ Rogers told ABC News.
‘I mean, kids often repeat what they hear on the TV or the news, but it doesn’t mean it’s OK.
He went on to say … with no sense of irony… ‘the school is striving to teach pupils about the difference ‘between opinions and facts’.’
Oops. His beloved Hillary and Co have taken a beating from Wikileaks for THEIR inability to distinguish fact and fantasy, maybe this guy should have just stuck to voting on lunches in the first place.
