LEFTISTS LOVE SCIENCE — Until It Gets In The Way Of Their AGENDA

Sciencey Science Science Except When It Comes to…
If you are a liberal, somehow you are simultaneously addicted to science while believing that gender isn’t biologically defined. You have to cast generations of research into chromosomes and microbiology aside and instead accept the notion that a man can be trapped in a woman’s body, or vice versa, if someone says that’s their life condition.
I just closed my eyes and said to myself that I was a millionaire trapped in a working stiffs body and that a Katie Pavlich-like hottie was sitting beside me. With eyes open, my paycheck is still the same and an easily irritated Chihuahua is the only one sitting beside me – judging by his growling he’s none too happy about it either although he’s pretty hot about something.

Were Liberals to Open Their Eyes
Asking the left to open their collective eyes I know is too much. As I’ve said before, their thoughts live in a place where ideology informs their ideas – it’s why their intellectual vocabulary is so small. That’s why you can take any given Lyndon Baines Johnson campaign speech from half a century ago and compare it with Hillary Clinton’s campaign speeches from this year, and find it hard to tell which is which. It’s why Michelle Obama can bemoan the loss of “hope” after eight years in which her husband only offered “hope” and not quantifiable, admirable results. But anyway, let’s take a scientific approach and test the left’s gender theory shall we?

58 Pronouns…Pick One
At last count there are 58 gender pronouns to pick and choose from. That’s what Facebook says. Who knew Facebook was the authoritative source on scientific matters? According to liberal gender theory I can be a he, a she, a ze, a thur, pon, ey, Jee, or a hu to name a few. (I’ll admit, I like the sound of hu because it reminds me of Horton Hears a Who). So if I decide I’m a thur and I sleep with a jee, is that heterosexual, homosexual, asexual, or bisexual activity, a nap or is it just weird?

I mean, if gender isn’t a fixed quantity anymore doesn’t it follow that sexual activity then no longer fits within outmoded 20th century notions of gay, straight, or deviant behavior? Moreover, if I decide to identify as a she and encounter what I think is sexism, can I re-identify as a pon and remove sexism from my equation?

Science just called. It wanted to talk about liberal gender theory’s epic fail.

How Dare You!
The frothing shriek just heard from mom’s basements on the east and west coasts as well as Chicago, parts of New Mexico, Minnesota, and Hawaii, was a resounding “how dare you, Mister Allen, treat ____ism that way”. Undoubtedly I’m operating from a cisgender point of view.

Cisgender? Yes, cisgender.

The word cisgender was coined in 1998 by a German “sexologist” named Volkmar Sigusch. I won’t delve into the fact that Volkmar was born in East Germany – not eastern Germany but East Germany like with the Stasi and machine gunners willing to mow down any East Germans the landmines missed when East Germans decided to try and escape the little piece of Cuban-style paradise in central Europe that was East Germany. Instead, I’ll note the obvious: how is it that one ologist coins a term and without any independent verification or application of the scientific method, cisgenderism is taken as an unquestionable fact? Pretty easily actually.

Cisgender is defined as “denoting or relating to a person whose self-identity conforms with the gender that corresponds to their biological sex; not transgender”. In other words, if you’ve got certain parts and you know what those parts are and what they do and then you pick the pronouns that match your parts, presto! You are a cisgendered bitter clinger and not an enlightened transgendered person. Volkmar Sigusch and about two generations of liberals objectify you that way.

But Objectifying People Is Bad
I know, I know. We’re not supposed to objectify people. If we do, we can’t read magazine covers where some starlet promises to tell us about feminism, sex, and selfies. If we objectify that starlet – or those that read those magazines or tune in to The View, Ellen, Oprah, The Chew and other tabloid television outlets – then we get in the way of the narrative that defines 21st century intellectualism only as deep as an interview about feminism, sex, and selfies. And don’t you dare judge feminism, sexual behavior, or selfies whether a starlet is involved or not!

The left though is allowed to objectify anyone that falls outside the boundaries of their ideology. Remember that if you’re a liberal then every idea you have is one that’s informed by an ideology. Other ideas from other sources are dangerous so your knee-jerk reaction is to light the torches, grab the pitchforks, and march on the town square to burn those books, records, or otherwise lynch the source of those new-fangled thinkie thinkies.

New-fangled Thinkie Thinkies
The reason that tolerant bunch of intolerant, diversity-loving, lock-step thinkers (aka liberals) hate it when we find the epic fails in their ideology is that it erodes their power. That’s why they claim the mantles of science and transgender theory even though both are mutually contradictory and the latter is defined by the mental health scientists as a disorder. The left thinks that science gives them authority while transgender theory gives them an aggrieved audience they can render dependent the same way they’ve used race to destroy black lives and gender to turn private parts into public resources.

When we correctly note that when genders are no longer specific then a whole bunch of isms can’t exist anymore, we get in their way. And that gets in the way of their old-fangled thinking and the ideology behind it.

Andrew Allen (@aandrewallen) grew up in the American southeast and for more than two decades has worked as an information technoloigies professional in various locations around the globe. A former far-left activist, Allen became a conservative in the late 1990s following a lengthy period spent questioning his own worldview. When not working IT-related issues or traveling, Andrew Allen spends his time discovering new ways to bring the pain by exposing the idiocy of liberals and their ideology.
