The Leftist media has always favored negative news. It attracts readers and viewers. That’s money in the pockets of big media.
The negativity seems to be getting stronger in recent years unless you’re an African -American, a Minority, a Muslim, or a Democrat. That’s why Hillary and Bill Clinton can get away with a list of transgressions second-to-none without prosecution. That’s why Obama can become president without proof of citizenship, without a valid birth certificate and only a belated forgery. He’s Black and a Muslim sympathizer, which also protects him. The fact that he’s accomplished little has little effect. (See chart summary below.)
In other areas, the negativity of the media seems unprecedented. This is true not only in the political arena – but also in the financial area. With the stock markets at all-time highs, the financial experts can’t get in line quick enough to forecast a crash. Of course, the market will decline. Even a financial novice can predict that with certainty. What goes up always comes down. That’s life! That’s the market! That’s politics!
The best way to look at these things is with a consolidated, moving average. For example, a twelve-month moving average is better than looking at a month-to-month result. A two or three year moving average is probably even better for long-term investors.
The debt of our nation is, of course, a major concern. The Obama administration racked up more deficits than all presidents combined. That’s dangerous! That’s irrational and cannot be sustained. Corrective action must be taken despite the shortsighted career politicians and leftist journalists who argue against it.
For sure, the leftists and globalists will use any corrective action and related economic downturn to enhance their drive toward socialism and/or globalism. And, of course, the mainstream media will enhance their criticism while promoting progressive leftism and globalization as the only rational solution – when in fact they were the primary cause of the government’s irrational deficit spending.
Disgraceful, unpatriotic and sad are the best words to describe the 66+ Democrat congressional representatives who boycotted the traditional presidential inauguration ceremony and celebration. This peaceful transition of power and celebratory events on Inauguration Day have stood as a model for the rest of the world.
By boycotting the inauguration, these Democrats followed the immature leadership of Rep. John Lewis from the 5th District of Georgia. It tarnishes the stellar tradition of America in its peaceful transitions of power. Furthermore, it disrespects the will of the American people in their peaceful election of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States.
This emotional and unpatriotic boycott by over five dozen Democrat congressmen/women dramatizes what poor losers – what crybabies – these Democrats really are. It illustrates why Democrats have been so ineffective in leading our nation, i.e., by putting party politics ahead of national patriotism. It shatters the concept of loyal and respectful opposition.
Of course, if you are a Republican or a Conservative or a practicing Christian, even the slightest infraction will make you a prime target ad infinitum. And if you are a White, Christian, Conservative, and Republican look out. And if you’re an African-American, Leftist, Democrat, Civil Rights Hero and Congressional Representative from a small southern county you can dominate the negative national news for days without end.
Why is this so? Probably many reasons. Readers/Viewers tend to pay more and immediate attention to negative news than positive news. The folks want to avoid getting hurt or setback in their lives, careers, businesses, etc.

It is my hope the American people and their representatives will get behind the Trump administration’s effort to reestablish rational government management and the American-Way.
