Obama is like that guy who was never told ‘no’ as a kid.
Not only will he not get his way, but the big kid just walked over and kicked over his sand castle.
That began 2 months of impotent rage. Lame duck or no, he could still do some harm.
He went on a hiring spree. Chaffetz was NOT happy about it because hires were rushed with an aim of hiring as many as possible, NOT of hiring the best possible candidates. Basically, he was stacking the bureaucracy.
He turned his back on ALL historical precedent with Israel by standing back while the UN made an anti-Israel resolution.
He pardons people who have committed treason against the government.
It’s not like he swore an oath to uphold the constitution or anything.
And then, in his final hours as President?
The same guy who sent a planeload of unmarked bills to Iran.
Officials said Monday that the Obama administration– in its waning hours– defied Republican opposition and quietly released $221 million to the Palestinian Authority that GOP members of Congress had been blocking.
A State Department official and several congressional aides told The Associated Press that the outgoing administration formally notified Congress it would spend the money Friday morning.
The official said former Secretary of State John Kerry had informed some lawmakers of the move shortly before he left the State Department for the last time Thursday.
The aides said written notification dated Jan. 20 was sent to Congress just hours before Donald Trump took the oath of office.
In addition to the $221 million for the Palestinians, the Obama administration also told Congress on Friday it was going ahead with the release of another $6 million in foreign affairs spending, including $4 million for climate change programs and $1.25 million for U.N. organizations, the congressional aides said.
The aides and the State Department official weren’t authorized to speak publicly on the matter and demanded anonymity. –FoxNews

The Trump administration has informed the Palestinian Authority that it is freezing the transfer of $221 million which was quietly authorized by the Obama administration in its final hours on January 20, a senior Palestinian source has told The Times of Israel.
US officials conveyed to PA Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah on Tuesday that the funds were not expected to be handed over in the immediate future, said the source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
On Tuesday, the State Department said it was reviewing the last-minute decision by former secretary of state John Kerry to send the funds to the Palestinians despite objections to the transfer by congressional Republicans.
The department said it would look at the payment and might make adjustments to ensure it comports with the Trump administration’s priorities.
