MSNBC has joined the mainstream media never ending war on President Donald Trump by banning White House senior advisor Kellyanne Conway from its airwaves. For most Americans, a giant “who cares” went up, since most former viewers have as much trust in MSNBC and Morning Joe as they did in President Obama’s Obamacare claims of “you can keep your doctor if you want to.”
The show and its hosts have spent the last presidential political season stacked with an array of mainstream media attack personalities who vilified then candidate Donald Trump as joke, loser, huckster, racist, ill-prepared, politically inept and worse yet: “out of the mainstream”. To be honest, if you were to have listened daily to the stinging, biased political punditry that masqueraded as analysis instead of opinionated dribble, it is no small wonder that their followers believe Trump is the true coming of the Anti-Christ.
According to Forbes, Conway had to be uninvited from being interviewed on Morning Joe because there were contradictions in what Conway stated on then National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and what was being offered by other White House spokespersons. Then the show doubled down on their official negative pile-driving attack on her character by indicating her comments on Ivanka Trump’s clothing line in a Fox News were over the line.
Yet, for months on end during the past presidential election cycle, the mainstream media’s hounds from liberal bastions of negativity either backed up and supported Hillary Clinton’s numerous lies and misfeasance’s or simply ignored them all together. MSNBC’s Morning Joe host Mika Brzezinski declared this week that Conway was no longer invited, “She’s not credible anymore.”
To say that this is insulting would be an understatement. It is Brzezinski’s own credibility and the credibility of those who inhabit the morning show that are suspect. Just examine how this show and others sought to attack the credibility of the statements and positions taken by candidate Trump during the primaries, the GOP convention and the general campaign. It was a professional bloodletting hit job on him, that was right out of the DNC and Hillary Clinton campaign playbook.
When WikiLeaks revealed tons and tons of facts that clearly demonstrated the orchestration between the DNC, the White House and mainstream media outlets like CNN and others, Brzezinski and her Morning Joe cohorts instead wanted to focus on a Russian connection. It was a clear attempt to divert attention away from how Clinton and her billion-dollar money machine was undermining the presidential election and using mainstream media minions to provide cover for her.
The anger and vitriol that erupted on the early morning after the election from numerous mainstream media pundits and networks hosts was stunned anger and gave rise to determined liberal opposition to the President-elect Trump. Conway, who had been the first female in history to manage a winning presidential election of a major party was to become the convenient target.
Now, Joe Scarborough, co-anchor of the show has turned up the heat on Trump and Conway by stating, Conway is “out of the loop” and absent from key meetings within the Administration. “She’s just saying things just to get in front of the TV set and prove her relevance,” reported the Washington Post.
Yet, that same type of attack on a White House senior advisor who actually openly and intentionally lied to the media about President Obama’s secret involvement and hidden agenda concerning the Iran nuclear agreement talks was treated as a mere oversight by Morning Joe co-anchors. Remember Ben Rhodes, senior foreign affairs advisor to Obama? He revealed, the use of friendly reporters as public relations tools in the selling of President Obama’s foreign policy — and can do it almost at will because these mainstream media tools are ignorant. “They will believe what they’re told, will essentially take dictation and are happy to be used just to get the information necessary for a tweet or two,” reported the New York Post.
The crowning jewel of the mainstream media misrepresentation was Rhodes’ “selling a misleading narrative about the nuclear deal with Iran — the parameters of which were set a year before the administration claimed and which had nothing to do with the fact that a supposedly more accommodating government had risen to power,” according to the New York Post.
The liberal mainstream media networks like CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS and MSNBC have supported liberal Democrat officials and White House wordsmiths for decades. When Trump administration official Conway makes an inadvertent comment about National Security Advisor Flynn or Ivanka Trump can send these networks in fits of pretentious rage, no one should really care. As for Conway, she should consider their rage as a badge of honor.
