It seems that a lot of people don’t know what the word ‘complicit’ means…
And we’re not pointing our fingers at Ivanka.
In an interview with Gayle King, Ivanka was asked an equivalent to the ‘Do you still beat your wife?‘ question.
Her answer caused much consternation on the Left.
Here is a transcript of what was said (emphasis added):
Gayle King: I’ve read articles saying you are complicit— that Jared and Ivanka are complicit in what is happening to the White House. Can you just weigh in on how you feel about that? There’ve been articles. There’ve been parodies. What do you think about that– that accusation?
Ivanka Trump:If being complicit is wanting to be a force for good and to make a positive impact, then I’m complicit. I don’t know that the critics who may say that of me, if they found themselves in this very unique and unprecedented situation that I am now in, would do any differently than I’m doing. So I hope to make a positive impact. I don’t know what it means to be– complicit– but– but, you know, I hope time will prove that I have– done a good job and much more importantly, that my father’s administration is the success that I know it will be.

‘Complicit’ has a negative connotation to it.
The question asked by Oprah’s Bestie was basically, ‘On a scale of 1 to 10, how guilty are you, Ivanka?’
Is it any surprise that she wouldn’t just say, ‘Hyuk! I’m completely complicit.’
Frankly, Ivanka answered a loaded question really well. She said, ‘If being complicit is wanting to be a force for good and having a positive impact, then I’m complicit. Then she says that she doesn’t know what it means to be complicit.
It’s unlikely that Ivanka doesn’t know the meaning of the word ‘complicit’. Rather, it’s that she doesn’t understand why she is being asked if she’s ‘complicit’ when there is no crime or wrongdoing by her father’s administration.
But, Pelosi doesn’t understand that.
And so, she weighs in with both of her brain cells working on overdrive.

Pelosi ironically said:
‘We’re not here to talk about the president’s family, but the fact is, I think everybody knows what the word complicit is, and what it means is you’re not acting in the interest of the American people.’
Apparently, Nancy Pelosi doesn’t know what ‘complicit’ means.
Simply because Republicans believe in personal responsibility, small government, and free speech — unlike Democrat counterparts — it doesn’t mean that the Trump Administration is acting against the interest of the American people.
Which party is the one that legislates from the courts?
The Democrats.
Which party forced their agendas again and again on the American people?
The Democrats.
Which party was totes kewl with weaponizing government agencies like the IRS against political enemies?
The Democrats.
Which party was it that rigged their own primary so that their ‘preferred candidate’ could be elected — because it was a woman’s turn?
The Democrats.
Which group when they lost an election because they ran a terrible candidate formed ‘The Resistance’?
The Democrats.
Which party affiliation is the former President that created a ‘Shadow Government’ fighting the current one?
Democrat.
It’s not the Republicans that are ‘not acting in the interest of the American people’.
If you’re not sure who that is, Nancy Pelosi, just look in a mirror.
