BROMANCE: Look Who George W. Bush Is MAN CRUSHING On

Well, I certainly didn’t see THAT coming.

What an unlikely pair.

Former President and Glamour Magazine ‘Woman of the Year That’s a Man’.

President George W. Bush and his wife Laura met with the lead singer of U2 to discuss humanitarian efforts that can be increased in order to eliminate disease and poverty in Africa.

George W. Bush and Bono.

Seriously.

Here’s the former President’s Instagram post:

He said the following:

Bono is the real deal. He has a huge heart and a selfless soul, not to mention a decent voice. @laurawbush and I are grateful he came to the ranch to talk about the work of @thebushcenter, @onecampaign, @PEPFAR, and our shared commitment to saving lives in Africa.

Bono used the same pic with this caption:

More than 11 million people are alive today thanks to this man’s creation of PEPFAR, the U.S. AIDS program that has been saving lives and preventing new HIV infections for over 10 years, with strong support from political leaders right, left, and center. That progress is all at risk now with President Trump’s budget cuts, which will mean needless infections and lives lost. – Bono

Bono co-founded the ONE Campaign that strives to eliminate poverty and preventable diseases in Africa. The ONE Campaign says that it isn’t about charity, it’s about justice and equality.

President Bush’s Administration began the President’s Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).

Well, I suppose it isn’t that much of a surprise to see the ‘Social Justice Warrior’ Bono meet with the ‘Compassionate Conservative’ Bush.

Share if you think it’s a bit weird that these two are working together
