What ELSE could go wrong? It was bad before last week, and now, it’s just gotten worse.
Including leaks about a big lawsuit that forced CNN into withdrawing their Scaramucci hit piece.
Let’s start with a quick recap of the ‘before’.
— CNN was called out by Comey for their BS story about Trump — they issued a correction.
— CNN had to fire Kathy Griffin for her anti-Trump comedy bit performance art mock beheading of Trump.
— Another employee — Resa Aslan called Trump a POS. He was fired.

— Even their ‘gimmie’ Anti-Trump poll was backfiring (badly) the last time we checked it.
And now, instead of reporting the news, they have BECOME the news.
They wrote a hit piece on a Trump ally, Scaramucci, with one unnamed source that CNN didn’t just correct, but that — contrary to standard journalistic practice — they yanked the story completely. And apologized to Scaramucci.
And they made an editorial announcement about it ‘not meeting their standards’.
And they accepted the resignations of three employees responsible for that story. Do you think THIS had anything to do with it?
The specter of a $100 million libel suit scared CNN into retracting a poorly reported story that slimed an ally of President Trump’s — and forcing out the staffers responsible for it, The Post has learned. —NYPost
That takes us to this week, where they were the subject of an explosive Project Veritas hidden-camera video (we expect others will follow) in which a CNN producer claims that they are DELIBERATELY propping up the Russia story, not because they believe it to be true, but because it’s driving ratings.
About those ‘standards’ that they didn’t meet, did you mean ‘journalistic’ standards? Becuase the Producer in that video had something to say about ‘journalistic standards’.
You can check the video, and see for yourself, but I believe it was something like ‘That’s adorable, this is business.’
With CNN, ratings are money. The truth? It’s disposable.
Any guess as to what they’ll be replacing that ‘most truted name in news’ motto with?
